On 12 October 2026 on behalf of PHALS and IOM, Ms. Sarah and I met with Mr. Mohammed Mizanur Rahman, Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner (RRRC), and presented him with a sample of our locally produced soap. The visit provided an opportunity to showcase PHALS’s locally manufactured products and highlight the contribution of local initiatives to humanitarian response, livelihood development, and social cohesion in the Rohingya camps. We remain committed to promoting locally led solutions and strengthening the role of local actors in humanitarian assistance.
