Capacity Strengthening Plan Review & Annual Planning Workshop with Peer Humanitarian Partners (PHP)

PHALS (Program for Helpless And Lagged Society) successfully organized a two-day Capacity Strengthening Plan (CSP) Review and Annual Planning Workshop with Peer Humanitarian Partners (PHPs) on 29–30 April 2026 at Uni Resort Hotel, Kolatoli. The workshop brought together 15 PHP members including female 06 and male 09 and PHALS team to collectively review existing Capacity Strengthening Plans, assess progress and challenges, and strengthen alignment with the ToGETHER program priorities and sustainability goals. The initiative aimed to enhance collaboration, shared accountability, and strategic transition planning among partners. On the first day, participants engaged in reviewing individual organizational CS plans, highlighting achievements, gaps, and challenges. Each PHP presented their progress in plenary sessions, followed by participatory discussions to identify areas for improvement. The day also focused on revising and updating CS plans up to April 2027, ensuring alignment with organizational and programmatic priorities. The second day began with a reflection on the previous day’s outcomes, followed by presentations of the revised CS plans by each PHP. Participants then worked jointly with PHALS to develop an integrated Annual Plan and Joint Capacity Strengthening Plan, reinforcing collective ownership and coordination. The sessions also included discussions on the ToGETHER exit strategy, ensuring sustainability and long-term impact. The workshop concluded with wrap-up reflections and closing remarks from PHALS leadership and PHP representatives, reaffirming commitment to continued collaboration, capacity strengthening, and effective localization efforts.
